I did google those 2 and nothing at all came up. It said that there were zero results. I am having the hardest time.

It is really frustrating.

I thought for sure if i would be able to find a Doula.

We'll find you one somewhere.......or maybe you can birth somewhere else? Travel maybe? I know its a long shot but if your desperate for a Doula it may be the only way??
I'll see what I can do..:flowerz:

Thankyou :)

You have been such a great help.

I heard that some Doulas will travel, but i can't seem to find one of those either. I really want them to come here as i want to have bub at home.

Hey firsttimemomma

Good luck in your doula search! If it were possible to plan births I would fly over to be there with you but alas....you never know when a baby is going to make their entrance and I would hate to be stuck flying over the nullabor as you are delivering!

You may try to find a community midwife association, they possible could have worked with doulas in the past and they can refer you to them.

I searched NSW in the find a doula site, it came up with over 40 hits, perhaps figure out the doulas who are closest to you, and then give them a ring and see if they either travel, or if they know of any doulas who are closer to you, who may not be in the directory...

Are you having a mw as well, or just a doula?

I'm a doula in Orange. As far as I know, I'm the only one west of the Blue Mtns. Feel free to PM :)

Hey, First Time Momma.

I think I spoke to you on the phone and advised you to contact Kelly at Belly Belly.

Dubbo is a fair way for me, but if you've got no one else please let me know and we'll work something out.

I see a doula from Orange has also posted, bless her, so hopefully you'll work something out with her.

All the best!
Jen.
