I loved that thread always gave me an idea if i wasnt sure what to make, so here we go again, whats for dinner at your place tonight.

we are having my in laws over so im doing spagetti and meatballs in the slow cooker something EASY so then i can clean the house before they arrive

Was going to do mac cheese with a big salad, but time has gotten away from me today....so will whip up a cream and bacon pasta and still might do a small side salad. Yummmm...it is one of my faves, but I never make it cos df isn't a huge fan....bad luck, lol!! I'm the cook and I'm pregnant and I want it....so there!!

I had the best meal last night, I think I may have invented it hmmmm correct me if there is something else out there like this.
So I made the Potaoe bake/scallop potatoes
Added peas, corn, brocolli, cauliflour and
Chicken and OMG it was the best meal ever
I just found a new favourite

I made burritos like I said I would but unfortunately the lettuce I bought yesterday at Woolies was full of grubs :(:( so they were more like fajitas :laughing:

We are having those chicken skewer things (honey soy i think) and some of my crazy salad which has.. baby spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes, apple, kiwi fruit and cheese. Yum.

I have had a Mediterranean chicken in the slow cooker since 10 and I will be serving it with Hash browns (http://dazeyrecipes.blogspot.com/2008/07/core-hash-browns-potato-bakes.html)

I'm doing some kind of sausage casserole. Exciting stuff huh?
we make a yummy sausage pasta dish.
boil 4 big beef sausages, slice once cooked
mix with cooked pasta, lots of grated cheese and tin or two of tomato soup. top with extra cheese and mixed herbs and bake!

OMG YUMMMMMMYYY My mum used to make it with brown rice!! My dh won't even touch brown rice:( So we have it with Basmati
We are having chops cooked in gravy with vegies also cooked in the gravy. Mash potato's underneath loads of gravy on top... yummmo

i cheat and use a continental chilli con carne meal base, then just add whatever it says on the pack hahaha
avo salsa - mashed avocado, finely chopped (spanish if you can) onion, finely chopped tomato and coriander :)

Yummo! I'm making nachos in Texas muffins tins. That would be perfect to go on top with a dollop of sour cream on the side. Thanks for sharing!!

Sweet Potato Salad..
Roast or Grill sweet potato
Mix with spinach leaves, pine nuts, lime juice, olive oil, cracked pepper and any of the following....avocado, tomato, fetta, olives, spanish onion...
mine tonight is a bit of a variation...mixed lettuce leaves, tomato, avocado, pine nuts with the dressing...i usually use whatever i have! not that exciting but easy and yummy:)

We had friends over for dinner so I cooked a yummy Pork Roast with cracking, home made gravy, Roast pumpkin, Potato bake, Asparagus with balsamic dressing and toasted pinenuts, Fresh green beens, Honeyed carrots and Brocollini with Olive oil and freshly ground salt and pepper.
For desert we whipped up Banana splits with ice cream, choccy topping, cream, wafers, marshmallows and crushed nuts.
Was divine!:)

Ummm... last night, red curry soup - chicken for DF, mixed seafood for me. It was originally going to be a laksa, but one I tasted our laksa paste with the coconut milk, I discovered it was waaaay to spicy for me... for DS, spring vegies Baby Boost gourmet puree :D Lazy night!
Tonight, we still have no idea. Something with chicken thighs, since I defrosted extra last night for DF's soup.

I made this the other week at my mums for my brothers vegetarian GF, totally bluffed my way through it all.. my mum thought I'd made it 100 times before :laughing: Never! First time I'd made it :D

how do you even have time to be on line if you have to cook that? i would be a mess, i hate cooking for visitors. my visitors get cake and coffee.

Tonight we had left over roast lamb heated in gravy, with pumpkin/spud mash and salad, the kids had banana and custard for dessert and I'm about to have some icecream, as its really hot!
