Hi there,
I have a confession to make - I love reading the forums but have been too scared to make the move to add my contribution. Everyone on here have pix/smilies etc - how to do all that? I feel almost 'naked' without these personal touches.

Also - I have two toddlers - my little girl is 3 and 'little boof' who is 18 months, and I have one week left before exploding. Does or did anyone find a lot of people negative when they see your heavily pregnant tum, with two toddlers? All I seem to hear lately is "Oh. You're gonna to have a handful" or "Wow, why would you be having a third child when you already have a boy or a girl?"

I'm 8 months, 3 weeks and going through 3 bottles of disinfectant a week (don't ask...it's scary!) and wanted to meet some other mums online.

By the way, if I don't reply that means I've got the bags and on the way to the hosp! Looking forward to chatting soon.

HI  Welcome to bubhub

I get funny looks now and I have a 3yr old and a 6mth old...not planning another for a while tho so I wont have to deal with the ones you get. I also have a boy and a girl and I often have people say to me things like 'oh, a pigeon pair...no need to have anymore kids then' I kinda just smile and say we'll see what happens.

Good luck with the birth of you bub, hope all goes well for you :)

Hello, welcome to bubhub,

to add a picture, go to user profile and then edit avatar, your pic needs to be 80x80 pixels and less than 19.5kb

to add a signature, edit sig in the user profile too, have a play around there a few different options in there too.

Hi and thanks for the welcome -
You are right about the 'pigeon pair' comments! We would hear them all the time and honestly didn't really think about another child - but you cannot argue with fate.
My partner and I didn't expect a third but when we found out, alot of people reacted negatively. It's really hard to deal with that because it feels like my 'support network' (as they call it) doesn't expect me to be able to cope with three children.
Thank-you to all Nanna's out there!
Once again, thanks for the warm welcome.

Congratulations on your soon-to-be three!
Don't worry about all the comments. I got all the same comments when I was pregnant with #3 too!

Good luck

Welcome to bubhub and congrats on your impending arrival. This time last year we were trying to come to terms with the idea of our new pregnancy! He is now 4 mths old and the absolute apple of both my and my husbands eye. I can't gush enough about how fulfilling it is to have three children. It took until the moment Hamish landed with a plop on the bed for me to come to terms with having a third. I was pretty apprehensive (totally on the practical side, I see now) about another until he arrived. You'll do great!:D

Wow, thanks everyone for the lovely messages. It's also nice to get to know mums with 3 + kids but all mothers who wish to chat as well are welcome to say hello. I have been looking for a place to go online and find other mums, and the LOST website is a little bit out of my league - their forums go OFF.
My brain has turned to absolute jelly this pregnancy so its nice to start off in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Thanks again everyone!
