DD and I are having a cooking day today.

So far, I have made a Glazed meatloaf in the oven (first time I have ever attempted a meatloaf so I hope its OK!).
With the beef and sausage mince left over, we're making sausage rolls.
Chicken & Cashew Stir fry to freeze for lunches.
Apple & Cinnamon muffins
Hummingbird cake
And I have some diced casserole steak which I havent decided what to do with yet. Maybe Beef & Guinness stew to freeze so we can use it for pies later on??
Oh and finally Super rich Chocolate Mousse for after dinner.

Wow definately busy in your house.
My casserole is cooking nicely. Since DS2 is asleep I might get off and get a few things done.

DD1 and I just made Anzac slice. It's really just Anzac biscuit mixture but I couldn't be bothered rolling into balls, so I chucked it all in a slice tin.:D

We're having honey and beef stirfry for dinner, so veggies are all chopped and beef is marinading.

Spaghetti bolignaise for dinner tonight...I'm not into cooking/baking very often...If I do cakes, biscuits, slices ect I'll do it on the w/end when the older 2 are home as they like to 'help'.

Yum! Can you make extra and ship some over here please??:laughing:

The meatloaf was nice and tasty but broke apart a little when I sliced it. Hopefully better luck next time. We got bored and only ended up cooking muffins and making mousse. :o

And country french chicken for dinner.. which I guess I can't really say I am cooking, all I am doing is cutting and cooking chicken, rice and opening a jar of simmer sauce :p
DD is having a frozen meal of chicken mince, mashed pumpkin, carrot and pasta.. so at least she is eating healthy lol..

I've had a very slack day as far as food goes. I had yoghurt for breakfast, salmon pattie with salad fro the deli in Milton for lunch and we're having lasagne and chips. I made the lasagne last weeks so it was frozen and the chips are frozen ones. Very slack.
