all day morning sickness

Hi Ladies!!

I am currently about 8 weeks pregnant and since last tuesday, i have been vomiting alot until about 2pm. I know this is normal, but the last few days it has been lasting all day and it is all of a sudden. My question is, this morning i did my usual :barf:but there was little bits of blood in there?? is that normal?? Also after i :barf:once get really bad chest pains, is this normal too :confused: thanks in advance!!

Unfortunately it is normal.

I vomited everyday for 5+ months with all three of my boys and I also did notice small amounts of blood. I think that was from my gums though.

If you are really worried I would see the gp.

I hope it passes for you really soon. It is such an awful feeling, but all worth it in the end. ;)

just be careful, while it may be "normal" you really do have to be wary of becoming dehydrated which can indeed endanger you and the baby. I think they usually say if you vomit 3 or more times a day, for 3 or more days straight, you probably are dehydrated. AND you feel like death and have a dry mouth, dark urine etc.

so..be careful, if you dont get any days without vomiting, i would go to the doctors or ER where you may need a drip or medication to stop you vomiting.

anyway, good luck and hopefully it does pass!! try sucking on ice cubes as much as you can to keep you hydrated

Im almost 13 weeks and have had all day MS since about 5/6 weeks, thankfully its not eventuated to the vomitting stage, just horrible horrible nausea. so im feeling the yuckiness. I hope it eases off for you soon.
