Centrelink Payments and Maternity Leave

Hi,
I'd just to like to check when Centrelink payments will commence? Does it start when the Maternity Leave starts, or when "no-pay leave" commences?

I guess it depends on what payments you have applied for. Any parenting payment or family tax benefits won't be paid until after your child is born, and you would need to have stopped paid maternity leave to be eligable for them I'm sure. Might be best to ring centrelink to enquire about your specific circumstances.
