DH loves the name Charlotte if we have a little girl, but I'm having reservations...

I lean toward more unusual names and am not really a traditional name person.

Can anyone come up with a compromise that is perhaps similar to Charlotte, but a bit more unique?

(PS - I'd prefer no 'K' sounding names as it clashes with our surname)

Thanks!

Just found another one ...

Charla is a 'version' of Charlotte according to the following site:-

I like Liselotte - so cute!!!

I am not fond of these (too trendy for me) but: Cherilyn or Sharalyn.

Carlotta - or lotta? Thats spanish I think for Charlotte...I think both Charlie and Lottie lovely too...perhaps call her Charlotte and use either of those - then she has a choice when she older of using shorter or longer name...;) both my cousins called Charlotte (on different sides) as adults are still both Charlies...

The best I can do is leeza-lot. The leeza part is a bit softer though.
In between Lisa and Leeza.

It is such a cute name.

My ds#2 was going to be Charlise if he was a girl. Pretty much the same as Charlize but without the "Z" sound at the end.
