This thread is to allow all the 'Dec 07' mummies to register interest in sending another Dec 07 mum a swap parcel for bubba's 1st birthday :party:

Wow, I still can't believe that we are close to celebrating our bubbas' 1st birthdays... yeeks! :eek: :D

I'm happy to co-ordinate this and have a few ideas but any other input is more than welcome ('coz I'm sure there's probably something I've forgotten).

Ideas:

* This register be kept open until the end of the month (Oct 31) giving those that are interested a chance to register;

* The pressy shouldn't cost no more than $20 (postage is extra on top of that IYKWIM);

* You can add a handwritten letter, a cute card, or pics of your family for a more personal touch;

* If you sign up to participate it is a commitment that you must keep as your swap partner would be extremely disappointed if they did not receive their gift;

* Posting day for parcels would be in the week between Nov 10 and Nov 16 so that the pressies arrive before the first of the Dec bubba's birthdays;

* The process will be kept secret. You will know who you are posting to but not who is posting to you.

Please register your interest. We had a ball doing it last year when we were all UTD so I think this one will be just as great!!!

The process:

* Register your initial interest in this thread;

* Then please send me an email to sammilee@mac.com with the following details:

Your Name
Postal Address
Your email address that I can return your swap partner's info to
Bubba's favourite colour?
Anything bubba is particularly fond of? (eg. maybe loves blocks, or maybe loves books etc etc)
Is there anything that you would rather not be sent?

(I can then use this thread as a list of those that I should receive an email from, in case any go missing in cyberspace :D).

* I will put all the names into a hat, then get DH to draw swap partners, and then email you with the details.

Please send me your details by no later than October 31 so I can email out all the appropriate parcel swap details, thus ensuring that the parcels can be sent by mid Nov at the latest.

OK, I hope that's everything. If I have forgotten something please let me know LOL!

Well, my way of thinking is that it doesn't matter how many people go in it and whether there are even or odd numbers, 'coz I wasn't going to do it in pairs IYKWIM. i.e. the person you buy for isn't necessarily the person who is buying your pressy... yeah? Is that clear as mud? Hehehe!!! Don't worry, I'll work it out ;)

BTW - There are 8 of us so far...woo hoo!!!
