I love tupperware - my cupboards are full of it, I even had to rearrange to fit more in

Anyway, I am slowing down my current work-from-home small business admin services and thinking of doing tupperare parties aswell to make up the difference.

Has anyone else done it? Is it worth the effort? Do people really want to have tupperware parties anymore these days? [Text Deleted by moderator]

Hi Kelly, I have been to 2 parties lately, one with playgroup and the other a friend - so the parties are still definitely around. I am a total sucker, and I do feel obliged to buy something. My only criticism of Tupperware is that it is sooo expensive, but it is a great product. Good luck starting your business. :)

I know it is exy, that is one of the reasons I am a bit apprehensive about it but it does last forever and has a lifetime guarantee - gosh I sound like one of those party ladies already

I've done it, but around full time work... i couldnt find the time, as i don't drive, my partner had to drive me... so i would say, part time, (so you don't get run down) and if you can drive, go for it. people do still make successes of themselves using tupperware.. some ladies just have 'the knack' ... you do have to be committed though ... to pushing a little and to loving the product (you've already got that bit down pat)... best bit is DEALER DISCOUNTS!

I have been in Tupperware for the last 5 months. I joined under the conditions that I would not do any parties except between school hours on weekdays. I don't do any nights or weekends. The first month was really hard...getting myself organized and in the routine of how they do things. However, since then I have loved it. If you have a bubbly personality and are NOT PUSHY, you can do really well. In 5 months I have sold $23000.00 of Tupperware, earned approx. $5000 for myself. They also reward you VERY well with gifts. I have won Leather bags, woolen quilts, sheet sets, glasses, Tupperware...Dvd player and the list goes on. I added up the value of the gifts and it is about $1500 worth. Not bad ! There of course is always pressure to do more and get more but if you want it to fit in around your family you need to be strong in how much you take on. For those who have no small children the sky is the limit! If you recruit 4 people you can put your hand up for manegership and drive a Tupperware car ...free rego and insurance!!! Hope this is of help to anyone thinking of it?PS, I have 5 children ranging from 4-14.

Hello, i have i just signed up to become a Tupperware Demonstrator. Im so excited as i love the product and am really looking forward to getting out of the house and having some adult conversation, and most of all earning some extra money!!! Cha-ching!!!!:D

I just got some of the new catalogues yesterday and i really think it will sell itself because the stuff is just gorgeous and you should see the vibrant colours they have now!

Sorry for rambling, you can tell im excited about it! :o

I would definitely say give it a try. Maybe give it a 6 week trial? If you dont like it then you haven't lost anything because you dont have to pay anything upfront. The cost of your kit is deducted from your first 4 (or 6 depending which kit you get) parties. And at the end of it if you decided not to go ahead you have got yourself some free tupperware as the kit is yours to keep!

Good luck and go for it!!!! :yelclap:

I was in Tupperware for about 5 years - it was good while I was in it but it got a bit tiring with all the sales meetings etc - felt like a cult sometimes with all the rah rah rah.... LOL :D

The benefits are good, the cheaper tupperware but driving around, ringing around, dating parties, lugging the stuff around etc.... after a while it just took a toll on me. (I was working full time though as well)

And then half my clients discovered the joys of tupperware on ebay..... hmphhh.... :p
