hi there,
wondering if anyone knows can you give rusks when teething and under 6 months? the packets say 6 months but they also say first tooth at 6 months.

my bub is 5 1/2 months and got tooth 2 weeks ago.

Yes it should be fine. My daughter started having them at 3 months and there was no problems. Just remember to supervise your baby when chewing on the rusks.

I wish I knew that you can give these rusks to much younger bub! Thomas has been teething since he was only 2.5 months old and all this time he only 'allowed' to chew our fingers! Because we were too afraid to give him rusks!

(mind you he was gentle with me, but with my husband he REALLY chews his fingers to bit lol!)

Thanks once again, we'll get those rusks today!

The reason the packet says 6 mths is because rusks are made from wheat which they say you shouldn't give babies until 6 mths. Having said that I gave then to Nathan when he started teething at 4 mths.
