hi,
well just thinking i have had my cloth nappies a few months now and maybe i should do a strip wash on them.
what is the best method to do this?
most of my nappies are AI1. mainly PUL waterproofing. mainly bamboo or microfibre boosting/lining. a few flannellette lining.
suggestions please
Why do you think you need a strip wash? My DD is 27mths and I've never done one.

umm cause i thought it was somethign i shoudl do reguarly? i am newbie and need advice! so should i do them or only if i think they need it? i have found a few that were really good to have started leaking. maybe they need it?
No astrip wash is only something to be used if your nappies start to repel - ie the water beads on the inners and just runs off, it's mainly in my experience something that happens with microfleece/suedecloth inners.
If your washing routine is correct, you shouldn't have to do them very often or at all. In nearly 4 years of MCN, I've only done one.
Hope that helps.
