help quick, used softener on the mcns, what should I do?

DH put the load of washing in for me because I was feeding the kids their breakfast. I asked him not to put in softener, but he did:rolleyes: It is washing now, should I do some sort of strip wash after or should they be ok just once? We have to leave to go to church in about an hour, so not much time left. Should I just put it through the quick 30 wash again with some vinegar in it?

i'd be inclined to do a strip wash; not w vinegar (is that bad for elastic?) but w dish detergent and hot water..
you could try them anyway; worst case is they'll leak and need stripping later..

one wash with softener isn't that bad, I'd just use them and then just wash without next time. You may just need some additional boosting until you do.

I ended up just hanging them out after that wash, we ran out of time. I'll use them on DS and see how we go, I've never done a strip wash before, never even washed in anything other than cold.
