Anyone in Batemans Bay area?

Hi im kieren and my daughter is ella-rose

just wondering how many mummies are in the bay area

i currently live in canberra.. but have extended family members living down at the bay.. and i am seriously contimplating a move as canberra is soooo expensive and im having trouble renting down here..and it would still be close enough to canberra for my canberra famiyl and friends to come vist.

im just bit anxious about starting all over, in a strange town, where i dont have any social networks

So just looking to get to know some other mums online here first. (might be more comforting to move if i know people down there before i do so) and get adivice on the good and bad areas of the bay.

There is one member that I know of that lives in the Bay. There are now 2 of us that live in Ulladulla and surrounds. I live in Mollymook. I haven't lived in the Bay myself but my brother has. He seemed to like it very much there. It has more shops than what Ulladulla has too. But to me thats the only plus side of the bay. As much as you get a lot of tourist through Ulladulla the Bay gets a lot more. I haven't really explored the beaches down there either so I don't know what they're like. Here I like taking Ds to the inlet because not many of the tourist know about it and its not waves (DS gets a bit scared at the beach). Its a much more relaxed lifestyle on the coast too.

On the rental side of things I'm not sure about the Bay but there are plenty going here and most around $200 to $250.

Hi im from the Bay. I have 2 little girls 19 months and nearly 3.
Theres no really bad areas, but theres certain parts of towns to avoid iykwim? I can help you out if you let me know the houses you are looking at.
Theres lots of good playgroups, I mostly do play dates as a lot of my friends from school have kids (they are all around my age too)

We also go out to the pubs/clubs too, its not all about the kids! lol
