I am due on easter sunday.

We are going to be very busy the next three months because we have to buy a house, move and get settled for xmas.

Then only three months till bub is here!

Starting to get very excited.

Hey Sandy
Congrats! So there is a similar gap between your first and bubinski to mine...do you find people give you heaps about having them too close together?

i am due with my second on the 3rd may. All three of my pregnancies have been a struggle, its great to find some other people due around the same time too.

My mum thinks I'm "stupid",

But there are pros and cons to ANY age gap. I know it's going to be a struggle to cope, but it's the same no matter how close or far apart they are.

It felt right for us.

I agree - what's right for us is what we do. It's just a bit harder when well-meaning but thoughtless people make comments like "oh, but your first one won't even be out of nappies!", or my personal favourite; "don't you two have a tv???". Sometimes it takes all my willpower not to tell people to stick it...

Or how about "Don't you know what causes it yet?" I'm due 25th March with my 4th. My oldest is 4. Second one is 21/2, and my third is 1.

I've just thought of something you can say to those people who question you about having children close together. When they ask why, or make a comment about it you can say "We just love each other so much that we can't keep our hands off each other" I'm sure that what shut everyone up. :D :p

HI Bubbalove,
That's great news. Congratulations, I bet your husbands parents were really excited. Every family needs girls in it, we make it extra special........... :D
Do you have any names picked out?
Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and keep us up to date.

Yep, all of both sides of the family are happy that the ultrasound showed that all if well with bubba, and the fact that she is a girl is an added bonus. We have chosen Jessamy as her first name, and are still tossing up a few choices for her middle name. Thanks for the good wishes - she just booted me, so that must be hi from her too :)

Hi Bec

You'll be fine, labour and delivery are by far the shortest part of your pregnancy ;)

Hi Bec, Lily was born on the 1st of March, she was due on the 17th Feb, so I was so hot and stuffed by the time she was born... She was absolutely perfect... I took castor oil with her as I was 12 days overdue, and the following day I was to be induced, did not want that as I heard it was pretty severe... I think all up was about 3 hrs and 45 minutes (not counting the 2 hrs I spent on the toilet)... You know the labour is going to be painful, but once you have Mr Peanut in your arms, The pain will be a thing of the past... It is the best time of your life, don't stress, It is going to happen regardless  ... Just think of the positives... the cuddles, the smell of their heads, their cute little fingers and toes... AAHHH, I love babies... :p Take care Bec, Your going to be great!!! Haana :)

I am 25 years old from Sydney, I have a 17 month old daughter and a baby boy due on 9th March, and I am sooo excited!!!

About the age gap - I wanted to have 2 close together and I don't think anyone else should be commenting on it to you guys anyway!! Just tell them that it was your choice and what you wanted!!! Nosy people are there should mind their bees wax!! lol!!

Enough from me. I am looking forward to hearing from you guys and chatting more often!!

Hi Chatterboxmummy

Hope all is going well with your pregnancy. Our kids are all very close in age! ANd we'll both have a boy and a girl each :) It's going to be a challenge, but I'm looking forward to 2 little ones :)

Have you found that this pregnancy is flyinh by compared to your first one? i think it's because I just plain don't have time to sit and dream about it all day lke I did with Aidan! And I'm the size of a house, if not a barn ;)

Enough dribble from me, hope to chat soon

Hi Bubbalove

Where about's are you? Which hospital did you have your baby at?

Does Aidan know what's going on, baby in the belly and all that!!!

I'm sure you're not the size of a barn!! lol!! Have you got any belly pics? I am 24 weeks on Wednesday and am HUGE! I don't know if I wsa this big with my daughter, but I feel much bigger.

No I actually think this pregnancy is dragging just as much, because I am too excited!!!

What kind of labour did you have fitst time round?
