Seeking Pead opinion ASAP

Hi there,
Is there anyway of getting a Pead opinion ASAP . Our 14 month old had an episode in twice in 3 weeks which looked like a Absence Seizure(Petit Mal) The first time it happened was when he had Gastro So the Doctors just though it was coz of that . The second time he had it was yesterday but this time he has only got a bit of cold.

The thing that happens is he looses control of his head and his eyes go from left to right pretty at variable speed.

Any ideas how to get opinion ASAP

tried calling our Pead Dr. Fan at NorthPark got her appointment for late next week.

If you are really worried.. and especially if it happens again... I would take bub to the childrens hospital and they will do all the necessary tests there and then..

My DS1 has had a few seizures but now that he is going on three they seem to be pretty far and few between... They did an EEG on his brain and all the tests to try and ascertain what was causing it..

A GP can get you in straight away too with just a phone call...when my bub was sick thats what mine did and i was in two hrs later....
