What does honey do/????
I'm confused.
If you are able to locate your cervix you will often know if you are close to O as you may have EWCM...trust me you will know it when you see it, egg-white is the perfect name for it. Creamy CM might cause a white stain and it's neither here nor there, its the clear stuff you are looking for.
I hope giving up choccie isn;t a prerequisite to TTC as I haven't!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!

Honey

Honey has been used to enhance fertility throughout history as it is incredibly rich in the minerals and amino acids that nourish the reproductive system and stimulate ovarian function. It's considered by many to be a fertility boosting super food.

DH was reading a mag and it said that having honey in your diet is really good when ttc so he went and got me a jar of it and i have it most days on toast not sure how much your ment to have tho.

just found this very interesting i'll be buying more honey tomorrow
British beekeeper Clive Brockdorff and his wife Susan Fletcher, a nutrition consultant, sell honey to enhance fertility and sexuality through their Norfolk-based company, Apitherapy Foods. "Put a woman who's struggling to conceive on bee pollen and you can pretty much guarantee a result within two or three months," Susan claims. Several studies both in Europe and the U.S. have examined the beneficial links between bee pollen and sexual health and have proven its ability to restore and rejuvenate tired or aging sex glands in both men and women. It can also increase sexual stamina and endurance and improve sexual dysfunction caused by prostate disorders, stimulate ovarian function, and increase the biological value of the egg.

While I'm here....I don't know if any of you have already read this on the Top Tips and Magic Tricks thread but not only can some foods aid fertility but others can prevent you from conceiving. One of the big Antifertility foods is peas!!!!:

As powerful as some foods can be in increasing your fertility potential, there are also some that may delay or in some cases prevent you from conceiving. One of these foods is peas, and its history as an antifertility food goes back at least as far as 1949.
It was then that scientists noted that the people of Tibet maintained one of the most stable populations in the world. Since one of the foods most prominent in their daily diet was peas, researchers theorized that perhaps this vegetable was working as a kind of "natural contraceptive"...Soon researchers began to back up these ideas with scientific fact.
What they discovered was that a natural chemical found in peas - called m-xylohydroquinone - did appear to have contraceptive effects. In studies conducted in India, capsules containing m-xylohydroquinone were found to cut the pregnancy rate by 60% and drop sperm counts by some 50%.
Back in the United States, studies conducted at the University of Illinois helped establish the antifertility effects of pea oil - so much so that it is now being studied as a possible natural contraceptive.
