Hello to all the Gold Coast Mums... :wave:

Was wanting to let you all know that I'm a member of a wonderful playgroup and ladies social club, in case you were looking for something good to join.... We meet every fortnight at Abrakidazzle and do lots of different events for us mums as well as movie nights and nights out without the kids... Most of us live in Pacific Pines or nearby...

But I live in Mermaid Beach so some things maybe a bit further then i would like to go with the price of fuel these days :thumbsdown:

Lovely to hear from you both... Thankyou for the reply... Sorry for the joint reply but thought I might be able to answer both of your questions in the one reply...

The club is called Social Friends and if you want to send your address to me at socialfriends@bigpond.com then I can send out some more information to you via the post which will include the next 2 months worth of Events...

We have a baby shower happening May 20th... Won't cost you anything to come along and meet some of the ladies (being held at Pacific Pines)...

Next Abrakidazzle get together is May 24th... Kids range from newborn to 5yr, both boys and girls... Lots of other kids at Abrakidazzle too... Only $3 per child for us cause we are a "club"...

Our next Girls Night for May is at the Helensvale Tavern, dinner, drinkies and chitchat then June's is at the Conrad Jupiters to see the Tempo Rouge stage show...

We try not to do anything too expensive so that more of us can get to events, have a fantastic event out, and share some special time with other women...

Just to let you know the club has a $5 membership fee when you join (to help cover admin costs, postage, name bags, newsletters etc)...

Thankyou for your message, we would love to have you join our club, it really is a wonderful place to come along and meet some amazing women (who most joined having moved interstate and not knowing anyone)...

I'll send some info out in the mail to you today... Looking forward to meeting you soon... My little cherubs are Rachel 3 and Andrew 18mths, so we should be able to swap lots of stories... Our next Abrakidazzle event is Wednesday 24th May... The details are all on the info I'll be sending you...

p.s. Abrakadazzle meet is this Wednesday, so if anyone can make it we'd love to have you join us... We meet at 9.30 (ish) and are usually there till lunchtime (we make a day of the outing)... Only $3 per child as we are a playgroup...
