Anyone use GK Minkytimes as a night nappy?

Looking at my minkytimes I was thinking they might be pretty good at night. Does anyone have success with them at night? What do you stuff them with? DS wets through an Anytimes at night, even if it is stuffed to bursting with bamboo and microfibre. We're happy with Krap Katchers right now, but I'm pondering my options (GK being much easier to buy then Krap Katchers).

I do!!! DS is Mega Wee Man, I use 2 GK bamboo inserts with a microfibre cloth folded so there's 3 layers of microfibre...so it goes 1 insert, microfibre, then another insert...

As long as he only has his bottle when he goes to bed, and doesn't have more throughout the night, it'll last about 12 hours...if he has an extra bottle or two it's all over though, but NOTHING works for him if he has a bottle in the night!!! :hissy::laughing:

We've used it successfully overnight but then again my anytimes I can too. I use a greenkids bamboo insert with bamboo booster and a microfibre booster on top of that. Not had any problems with it leaking.

Thats all we use for night nappies.

I stuff them with two bamboo inserts and they last us at least 12 but have been on up to 14 hours.

Asher drinks 200 mls of milk before bed and at least 2L or more of water through out the day and other beverages so he's a fairly heavy wetter.

I have with my minkee times (by total accident, one of those "i thought you changed him" moments! lol) and it was fine. Just a little bit of leakage but that's coz it wasn't boosted or anything, just had the 2 inserts & that was for about 12 hours!!!:yelclap:

Add and extra insert & I bet it'd be fine!!:yes:

I have been using the GK as a night nappy since I started using cloth 10mths ago, and I have never had a problem. There was a stage that dd went through a really heavy wetting stage and the GK wer'nt cutting it, so I bought a GNST, Zada nights, Sandman and Mirabai nights but have reverted back to the GK with added boosting and found the performance better than the night nappies that I bought.

We use 2 bamboo inserts with a bamboo booster and a layer of microfibre, and it lasts us 14hrs with no leaks, and I dont see why the Minkytime wouldnt work just as well ;)
