Centrelinnk Advance payments

Just wondering if you dont mind sharing how much you got based on your centrelink payments and also how much you then had to pay back each week

I get $364 which is about double what i use to get so wondering do i get double the advance payment and also then i guess its a bigger amount to pay back????

Also if anyone has done it online how long did it take to go through and for those who did go into centrelink and ask how long did it take you to receive it???

Everyone gets the same, doesnt matter how much you get in payments kwim? Also depends on what time of the year u apply for it. If you apply in January its $302 and you pay back $22 a f/n. I applied back in september and got $208 and I applied online and it was in my account 2 days later.
I dare say if you went to apply now you'd get mayb $150 or there abouts cos it all has to be repaid by december in time for the next lot.

When I was on YA I got a $500 advance payment the repayments were around $38 a f/n A friend of ours was the same and shes on DSP

ETA : Friend did hers online took 48 hrs to go into her bank I called centrelink first thing in the morning mine was in there the next morning

I don't get much from centrelink so last time I got one it was $180, and I am now paying back $24 a fortnight. It took 2 business days I applied online.

i have done an advance payment online and they take about 5mins to do and it was in my bank in 2 days

I also recently got my advance payment, and went in to my local office. I got $500, am paying back about $39 a fortnight and it was in my bank account within 48 hours.
I am pretty sure that everyone is entitled to $500, but I could be wrong.
Even though you pay it back in 6 months, you have to wait at least 12 months to get another.

when i got one in January I was only able to get $400 and something as a max, I think I paid $34 or round that back a fortnight, Im on Youth Allowance btw

ETA I applied for mine over thephone and it was in by the next arvo ( I applied late arvo)

i think it depends on how much you already get in payments as to how much of the advance you can get and i'm pretty sure you can apply anytime and get the same amount, not depending on when you apply as to when you get it...its just that you apply once a year.

i got $500 2 1/2 months ago when my DP left me as he left me with nothing and as i then became single status i was getting the full rate of parenting payment. so i was entitled to the $500. atm i am paying back $38 per f/n.

i did mine online quite late at night. i got it 2 days later.

My last 3 advance payments iv gotten were around the $300 mark in january and july. I havent tried one this late in the year but dont want to get a measly $150. I could handle $20 fortnightly payments so yeah think i might have to go in and ask for myself. Thanks
