Why do you wear make up?

i choose to wear make up to look good and feel good for myself. i dont wear much make up, but i do on special occasions and its purely to look good, feel good and pamper my self really.

I love it. I love the process of putting it on, I like trying different styles to see how it changes my face. It is me time as well and I find it so relaxing when other people do it I have fallen asleep!

I never wear make up - I just find it a pain in the @ss to have to put it on... I'm always in such a rush to get everywhere that I couldn't be bothered!

I only wear it when I am going out for special occasions and it makes it all the more special because people see me without make up most of the time and then when I do wear it you feel like a new person!

im a beauty therapist, and beauty is what i try to do for people, to make them feel great, its amazing how much more self exteem u have when u look great, would u go to a interview in your tracky pant and feel confident? or a nice new suit??? its all on how you want to feel. Dont u see picutres of models and say i wish i looked like them, well the truth is their normal under all that make-up with inperfections, make-up does alot if u apply it correct and know your colours

I hardly ever wear makeup! Im lucky coz i have pretty good skin anyway.

When i do wear it on special occasions i think its nice. Coz i dont wear it often when its a special occasion i feel like im dressed up coz im not normally wearing makeup and on the special occasion i am! Hehehe if that makes sense ;)

Makes me feel good, dressed up, shows that i have made effort to look nice, i love getting dressed up for a special occasion and putting effort into how i look, trying out new ways to do my makeup etc.

i hate my skin. i hate my uneven skin tone and i have i still get a few pimples at 24. i absolutely hate it. i wear makeup when i go to work at my casual job or meet up with friends. but not when i go get groceries or to the corner store or petrol station. i put it on for special occasions like when i go somewhere with DP although the last time i did that was... gee i cant even remember! i also dont like putting make up on but feel better about it on than not having it on. i feel alot prettier with it on than without.

My girl is very girly
she likes make up and can't wait until she is 16
and i let her wear more than lip gloss

As for me I am not girly
I only wear make up for weddings etc
Though I think it would be nicer
if i had someone else doing it for me....

I don't really wear make-up... coz I dont see the point. Actually, I lied, because I wear eyeliner...
I will re-phraser that to.. 'I don't wear foundation, blush, eyeshadow or anything other than eyeliner... and I don't even know why I wear eyeliner! More of a habit than anything else!'

I think most make-up just looks fake, and I feel uncomfortable when I wear it. The majority of it is just not good for your skin... or you body. Chemicals and other weird things...:confused:

I got told once from a friend that the most important part to put make up on is your eyes..Apparently if your eyes look good then no one really notices the rest...Whether this is true I do not know..

Having said that I put Makeup on sometimes...not all the times...mostly when im feeling frumpy and need a pick me up..

I don't wear a lot of make up.
For work I wear light foundation, blush, little bit of colour on eyes and lippy.
At home none.
Going out to shops or to friends a bit of lippy and if my complexion is looking dodgy a bit of foundation. :o
I am definitely a less is more kind of person.

I can remember a woman I work with telling me "if I remember to take just one thing to hospital with me to have bub, to take lippy. doesn't matter if you look like hell, a splash of lippy does wonders".

I guess I use it to cover up the imperfections and enhance the good stuff. I feel a little more confident in situations with a bit on than I would with none.

I wear it to special functions because I feel it's the "done" thing....I think I've been conditioned to the point that I would feel quite exposed if I didn't wear makeup to a wedding etc... That said, my "makeup" consists of light foundation, mascara and lip gloss:laughing:

I love putting it on, and love beein 'dolled up'.

I wouldnt say I cake/pack it on, but certainly make an effort to look nice when Im out and about. On weekend when im just at home i dont put much on at all. Maybe just a quick lick of mascara & sometimes a little eyeliner.

If there was one piece of make up i couldnt live without it would be mascara for sure!

I wear it to make me feel better. I don't wear as much as I use to when I was younger.

I use to work for barristers and lawyers for 22 years and having to be well dressed all the time because I use to have to go to court with my boss makeup use to finish the look off.

I wear it as i love it for one (being a make up artisit and all lol) and i wear it as it makes me feel confident :) I love experimenting with it and creating new looks!

IF I wear it, its because I feel like I have to - ie to work, or a wedding etc. If I never had to wear make-up again, I'd be happy.

The only time I wear make up is for special occassions. People always comment when I put it on because it is a different me that they see. I like to make an impact!! And besides that my skin is happier when it can breathe :thumbsup:

If I put it on every morning, i'd only have to take it off every night.

Which brings me to another question....

For the girls who wear make up everyday, do you take it off every night or wash your face and re-apply the next morning??

Why do you choose to wear make up? Only on ver special occassions, and then I use my sisters, cause I dont own any, well I lie, I have a eyeliner that I have had for like years.
If not, why do you choose not to? cant be bothered bascially I guess. I dont feel its me also

I love foundation because it evens out my complexsion.

Lippy for lips that men whant to kiss.

Mascara so my eylashes are big and thick.

I am a sparkle addict to. I have found the best recepe for the sexyest glowing skin to. (this comes from much experince)
I tan the day befor (bottle job) then moisterise and in my palm I mix fine shimmer dust and oil free sunscreen spray then rub it on arms and legs. It gives you the bist shine and glow like a sexy model.

I would be lost without my make up I think. It makes me feel more sexy and confidant.
