I used a Medela Mini Electric to exclusively express for 4.5 months with my first son, and its still going strong now (Im expressing again for this bub).
It was about $180 I think nearly 2.5 years ago, so not sure how much now, but its battery or mains, and you can get a car attatchment for it so you can express using the cigarette lighter in your car. :)

I started a thread a few days ago on this too as I had no idea...
I looked around and did some research/ read heaps of reviews on the Medela Mini Electric vs. the Avent Isis Electric....
There were lots of mixed reviews, but overall I found the Avent to come out on top.
I guess nothing compares to word of mouth by people who have used the product.. But I found the main complaint about the Mandela was it was a little slow and would hurt.....
With the Avent one the feature i liked was it can be changed into a manual one if need out and about too... Although it was more expensive than the Medela brand, I ordered online so got i it a little cheaper. I also went with this as we already have all the Avent bottles and other bits and pieces. So it kind of just made sense...
Also dont take my word on any of this as I haven’t used either before!
