New to Redcliffe area... can anyone point me to the bargain shops please?

Hi all what an active forum its delightful!! :yelclap:

I was wondering if anyone can offer some advice to cheap meat, fruit and veg, etc type place in the Redcliffe and surrounding areas please?

My partner has a disability which keeps me home taking care of him (which is fine i love him to bits :valentine:) But also means we are on pensions and well with the lovely rent prices these days shopping is a bit :hair: so if you can offer any ideas on bringing the price down I'm all ears... err eyes :yes:;)

I used to live in Sandgate but that was over 6 years ago so prob tell you shops that don't exist anymore :laughing:

For cheap fruit & veg you can't go past the Caboolture Markets, held every Sunday at the Caboolture Showgrounds. I'm not sure of cheap meat wholesalers near Redcliffe, but there is one at Caboolture called Get Fresh which has quite reasonable prices most of the time, you can see their ads in the local free papers.

I live in Redcliffe - on a Sunday if you get down to the Redcliffe market early morning (On the water front where all the main shops are) you can pick up cheap good quality fruit and vege there.
For Meat (and some other grocery items that are cheap) you can go to 'Farmer Pats' at "The Zone", Rothwell - 743-757 Deception Bay Road.
