Hi Girls,
I am 13 weeks preg and due in November. I have just moved up to Wattle Grove and was wondering what your opinions were in relation to Liverpool Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital.
I am going to make appointments for tours at both, but I think that if any of you have given birth at one of the hospitals that would help with my decision!
I have to have another c-section with this baby so I wont see the labour wards, mainly just interested in what the staff and rooms were like.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Well i gave birth at Liverpool & they are wonderful !
Of course i had one middie i wasnt too keen on but that always happens there has to be someone you dont get along with or the likes.
If you look at this thread ive already had a big talk on it but please feel free to PM if you have any questions !

Hi
I had DS1 at Campbelltown Hospital and they were good. DS was born in 2004 and i think they have done a bit of work to the maternity ward since then but the rooms were still pretty good.
The midwives were really nice, there was 1 or 2 that i wasn't so keen on but you will probably get that anywhere. Overall i had no major complaints and if we were still living down there DS2 would have been born at Campbelltown too.

Hello,
I gave birth to my first son at Campbelltown hospital and was transfered to Camden. I have nothing but good things to say! Campbelltown staff were great, I can't speak for everyones experiences but mine was fine. I must say though that if you can I would highly recommend being transfered to Camden hospital for after the baby is born. It is almost like being in a private hospital. The staff helped me so much and even took him for the first 2 nights just so I could get a little more sleep. I was luck enough to give birth to my second son in Camden as well and it was great.
Can't recommend them enough. Good luck with everything, i am sure things are getting excited as you watch you belly grow every day!!!
