Calling all Nanny's!!

Hi,
Was just wondering if there were any nanny's out there in Bub Hub land?
I am keen to chat or catch up with any other Nanny's especially ones from Perth.
I find it a bit hard and lonely sometimes when I go out as people are all keen to talk to you when they think that they are your own children but as soon as I tell them they are not mine they change their tune. (not sure why) :crying:

Anyway would love to hear from anyone really. :wave:

Hi im Phoebe and am mum to 8mth old Elijah and nanny to 18mth old twins in Claremont. Have been with them since 10 days old. Down to only 2/3 days a week since Elijahs birth.

Hi Phoebe,
That is fantastic! Does that mean you get to take Elijah with you to work, how perfect would that be! Wow 10 days old, they must love you!
I have been with my current family for 14 months now the youngest was nearly 9 weeks old when I started and now she is a very full on 16 month old just like her brothers and sister.

I also work for another family just 1 day a week they have 2 boys 3 1/2 and 11 months old. A total change of pace looking after them that's for sure.

Yeah i get to take Elijah with me so it's great although the twins do get a bit jealous of him at times. They also have a 6yr old sister but shes at school then the mum usually takes her out so i dont have too much to do with her. They're a really nice family and i cant imagine leaving them. What area do u nanny in? You must also be really attached esspecially with the toddler.

Hi Phoebe,

Both my families that I nanny for are in Dianella so It only takes a few minutes to get there which is great! Yeah I am quite close to the youngest one especially now that the 4 year old is at kindy 2 days a week now so I get to spend 2 days with just her and she loves it as we always seem to be out most of the day (she hates staying at home) and we now go to playgroup which she loves and so do I, It is just so nice to have some contact with other adults.
