ummm what is an evap line??!?

I just took a HPT as im planning on goign out tonight and just wanted to check.... i forgot it and come back after about 20minutes and it is positive?!?!

Ummmm its seems very unlikely that it really is positive so do evap lines look like positive etc??! Its a first response dip test

Hi trixibelle17 an evap line will have no colour if you go to peeonastick.com it will tell you what an evap line is. Good luck hope its a true :bfp::)

well i wouldn't say it is clear, but i couldnt confidently say pink either :)

I ran out and bought a whole armful (thank goodness for self checkout lines!) and just took two and they both came up negative within ten minutes... So considering its seems highly unlikely i have o'd anytime in the past few months, i think im pretty confident it must have been an evap line

i hope i get more excited and less in shock when i do finally get a true BFP!

were they the same brand???

cause different brands detect different amounts of HCG in the urine, also late in the day you tend to have less and less about of HCG in your urine :yes:

one of the ones i had used to retest was the same brand... i didn't drink anything in between both tests so my urine should have been even stronger the second time

i only have my mobile phone camera so i can't get it to focus on the test otherwise i would have posted a pic
