Has everyone seen these adds? the enough is enough adds.

They are driving me nuts! The song is just annoying and I say enough is enough! They run them about 5 times in one add break :banghead::banghead:

I understand why they are running them as scare tactics, but I honestly don't think that they will work. Some of these people causing accidents are just plain unaware of how dangerous thier driving is and don't think they have a problem or they are kids who think they are invincible.

The music is the thing that gets me more than anything else so everytime I hear it I get really mad!! :banghead: Stop running them so close together too!!

I really hate these adds to! I feel really sick when they show that one with the lady and her bubby and they guy hits her and kills her and bubby is left there screaming with blood on me.... ahh it gives me shivers!:(

Yes! The song actually sounds so cheesy it makes me laugh....it's AWFUL!

I think sometimes the really graphic ads are counter productive (especially the one with the mum and baby)...I change the channel the second it starts, I just can't watch it. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

Yes they are confronting ads - however, if it stops one person drink driving or being a hoon and then ultimately stops an accident or a death - then they are worth putting up with despite being so graphic.
Agreed - as horrific, disconcerting and annoying (music) they are, the bottom line is they need to reach their target demographic being 18-24 y/o males. Sometimes you need to repeat the message to get through to this particular age group. Besides which, five people on this thread alone are talking about so it's having an effect - the more it gets discussed, the more likely the positive impact.:thumbsup:

I agree, they are really annoying! The song drives me nuts! I honestly don't think that the ads will be successful because the fact is they are fake! Everyone knows that it is just an ad therefore none of the scenes are real... I know that it doesn't phase me in the slightest when I watch it...

I know it sounds very morbid but if they could obtain footage from REAL road accidents then this would be far more effective! Although, as I said, it's not very nice and kinda morbid!!!

Having spoken directly to their PR Campaign Manager - they are, in fact, using scare tactics to educate. I told her that an ad showing the police department impounding their souped up rev/bevmobile for a year would be more effective.

Don't get me wrong I think the adds can be good if they come across corectly. My complaint is the music, it gets irritating and i just mute it now or change the station. This will not achieve the target audience if others do this too! :eek:

I think they need to use a non descript type music this can be just as powerfull if not more so....

you know what i do with the words when i hear that song, i annoy dh and sing in his ears because Enough is Enough. as in enough of his antics. lol.
