View Full Version : Did it take the same amount of time to fall pregnant each time?

Hi,

Just curious as to if there wa much difference between how long it took to fall pregnant each time.

My dd is 13 m.o now and we have just started ttc for no 2. It took 3.5 months ttc no1. Just wondering how long it will take this time. I know every time is different as is everybody is different too.

When does everyone reckon paid maternity leave will commence - Jan 09, July 09 or Jan 10. I'm hoping July 09 as we'll prob have no 2 between july 09 and jan 10 - i'm hoping anyways.

DD took 1 month of actual proper counting the days kwim and DS took 2 months

Ds I fell pregnant first month.

My angel baby I fell pregnant first month.

And this bubs... I fell pregnant by mistake :p

I think it's fair to say I fall pregnant just looking at a man :laughing:

dd1 was a surprise so no idea... (ex-partner)
dd2 took 2 years (dh)
ds1 came in the 1st cycle (dh)
pg bump came 1st cycle (dh)

#1 - over 18 months

#2 - 8 months, but scored the first time we tried an OPK

#3 - hit it first month, but reached for an OPK straight away

And I have PCOS, so I consider myself very fortunate.

Both times I've fallen pregnant in the second month of trying...

so around about the same :)

1st time in the 1st cycle
2nd time in the 2nd cycle (m/c this one though)
3rd time in the 4th cycle.

dd1 2-3 cycles
dd2 1st cycle
preg 3 (m/c @ 9wks) I had my implanon taken out and 2 weeks later I was pregnant.

Luckily I seem to fall pregnant easily, currently ttc and hoping next time bub sticks. It's been 2 mths since my m/c.

ds1- fell pregnant on the pill
dd1- fell pregnant on the pill
dd2- in the first month of trying

we will be ttc#4 next year, so i am curious as to how long it will take. will be getting implanon out after christmas.

Never thought about this til now... But with DS, DF & I had been together since late 2000, had DS in 2005 July so concieved him in October 2004 (wasnt trying though) So that is 4 years....

Then with this one, Concieved in June 2008, so just shy of 3 years since having DS... (again not trying)..

So yeah close in time line wise....

1st was a surprise and happened pretty much the first time my now dh and I got together.

2nd took 14mths to conceive but lost that one at 19wks.

3rd took 8mths once we decided to try again

4th surprised us even though it shouldn't have because I haven't been using any contraceptives for 4yrs. This one is due in a week and a half there will be 2 yrs between the this one and the 3rd one.

My oldest is 5 now

It's halved for me each time....

DD - 4months
DS - 2months
this time - first month off the pill

DH WILL be having an appt once these 2 are born, I don't wish to fall next time without trying!!!

#2 - 1st time but wasn't trying
#3 - 1st time trying but m/c
#4 - will find out in a couple of weeks if 1st time again ;)

DD took 11 months when I had PCOS

then my PCOS was healed and...

DS1 - first go
DS2 - first go

First pregnancy DS1 "wasnt trying" when concieved
Second pregancy "trying" fell pregnate on the third month but had a molar pregancy.
Third pregancy "trying" concieved DS2 after the first month
Fourth pregancy...........waiting to see if im UTD and its my third cycle:fingerscrossed:
