Does anyone know of any toddler friendly cafes on the northen end of the Gold Coast?
My girlsfriends often go to Liller Ven at Tallie which is so fantastic .... it has a gorgeous deck overlooking the beach with a grassed area with toys and sandpit and an enclosed area inside with toys etc so we sit back and chill with a cuppa while watching the kids... but its just so far to go so was wonding if anyone has found anything like this at the northern end?
Thanks :flowerz:
Ok so Im not a GC local...but frequent the best place in QLD VERY often! :D
Have been to this Cafe in a complex next to the Q Centre Shopping Complex. Theres a Hungry Jacks and Oporto's there and the Cafe is part of a carwash. They have an area dedicated to children with toys and blackboards ect which is really nice!
I think the bonus is that you can get your car cleaned...enjoy a nice coffee, cake or lunch and let your littlies play with the great stuff there! :)
Oh and I think its on Bermuda St...but dont quote me! :)
Tranquility cafe/carwash. Yep, it's on Bermuda.
I've been meaning to go to Liller Ven, will have to check it out.
I'm not sure of any other cafes. I know the Benowa tavern is suppose to be good (haven't been there yet either). The lonestar tavern on the corner of Markeri and Sunshine Blvd has a play area for the kids. It has a maccas type play thing - with the slide etc and a room with video games, but smaller kids could take their own lil toys. Nice food too.
Southport sharks has a room for kids, but they have to be 3.

I've been to Liller Ven a few times as well...the food is really good (carrot cake = heaven) and being by the beach is nice. Plus they have some really cute kidz clothes if you feel like shoppin'.
But I have one problem...it's pretty much right on the GC highway and they keep the door open...my lil guy always makes a run for it. I asked to close it but of course, it's a business and they need it to look "open for business". Fair enough but a frustrating too cause otherwise it would be a regular spot for me!
This kind if place does seem like a goldmine for anyone starting a business!!
i like annies cafe at runaway bay sports centre. it has a playcentre like a mini smileez with slides, a maze jumpin castle etc, with a gate seperating it from the cafe. its 5 dollars an hour per kid or 7 dollars for 2 hours. it doesnt get the growds the other play centres get and its also maned by 2 carers for those who use the gym...bah i just sit there with a mag lol.
i go heaps on thurs if anyone ever wants to join me
