Hi everyone,
This is a shout out to all of those mums to be due this month who haven't posted in a while! Please pop in and let us all know how you are doing!
I know that I have found it daunting trying to keep up with the regular threads and thought this new thread might encourage others to post and let us know how your pregnancies are progressing, and whether any of you have your bubs in arms already!
Jump in and chat away!

Hi Naebie & everyone else,
Thanks for starting this thread Naebie. It was the little push I needed to actually post on here again after not doing so for ages now. I've been reading up on all your news for the last couple of weeks now (a few times a day to be honest ) and it's been really exciting hearing about all the bubbas arriving & what's been going on with everyone. Guess I felt a bit funny about jumping back in after not posting for so long.
All good here - my due date was 17/10 but am schd for a cs Fri 10/10 - yikes, only tomorrow to go. Am feeling weird now - would've really liked to go into labour naturally, on my own. Chose a cs as had to have one with DD (breech) and am going with the safest option. Do feel a bit upset about it though as would prefer a natural birth. Oh well, main thing is our little boy is safe.
Anyway, thanks for this little push Naebie. Good luck to all the girls waiting for things to start happening! It's all sooooo exciting.
Bye for now.....

Mookie- Sorry to hear that things haven't gone quite as you expected, but like you said, you have to think about what is the safest option for both you and bub! And at least you know when you will get to meet your bub!
Butimacheerleader- Wow, how exciting, and frustrating to be going over! I hope things are progressing for you, and you get to meet your bub tonight or tomorrow at the latest!

I'm having a bit of trouble keeping up with the other thread :o.
Im getting induced on Monday because of high blood pressure. I'm on medication, but it's not lowering. The safest thing is to get bubs out. I'll be 38 weeks 1 day. The ob was saying it could take a few days & because it'll be a vbac they have to take it slow. If the induction doesn't work I'll have a caesar. Not what I want, but I want a healthy bub more.

Hi there!
Again...great idea starting this thread. I've been peeking into the other thread to see how all the ladies have been going but it was just moving too fast for me...
I'm due to go in for a c-section at 9am next Tuesday (14th) so definately not long to go now. I'll be 39 weeks then and I can't wait to meet our little man...I'm totally over being pregnant now.
Good Luck to everyone!! I bet we all can't wait to have our little bundles of joy in our arms!! :smiliedance:

Hello All
Butimacheerleader - How has your labour progessed? Hope all is well. Excited to hear your news soon...
Becca - Hope you have a successful VBAC on Monday.
Sheridan - Best of luck with the c-section next week.
Melissa - Glad things are going well with your Kaida. Hope things get better for your hubby real soon :hugs:
Pen - Hope you have some exciting news soon!
Mookie - Good luck with the c-sec tomorrow.
Well my due date has come and passed, as much as I thought I'd have a baby by now with all these tightenings, cramps and discharge! I went to hospital last night as I had a small leak, but it doesn't seem that my waters have ruptured (Have to go to hospital asap if waters break as I tested positive to Strep B..). Bubs head was way down in my pelvis, which I certainly could feel!
So still getting constant braxtons, lower abdominal & back cramps. Surely something has to happen soon! Going to shops to get some pineapple today :p

Hi again girls,
Well, this will be the last post from me as I'm going in tomorrow morning for my c/s at 7.30am (time bought forward today). Have to be at the hospital at 5.30am!
Pinklily & Butimacheerleader, good luck and hopefully you'll be having your bubs soon, if you havent already.
Naebie - good luck getting your stitch out. Hope everything goes well for you.
Myusernamewoohoo - :fingerscrossed: something happens soon for you and bub doesnt get too much bigger!
Becca022 - good luck for your induction on Monday. I've had high blood pressure for the last few wks too and have been on medication. Has bought it down a little bit. Hope yours lowers quickly once you've had your baby.
QueensMum - good luck on Tues - from memory, we're going to the same hospital! I'll still be in there then, will probably go home on Wed and stay the full 5nights as will be more hectic at home with my 2yr old DD.
Over & out from me everyone. Take care......

So nice to see a few more mums about to pop! I'm 3cm and having some tightenings after a S&S today. I had induction acupuncture yesterday, which I hated, but maybe it did something. Can't wait to see my baby - just not really thinking about how it's going to happen; like one of those 1950s films...I can imagine contractions and being handed a baby, but everything else is...hmmm.
Good luck to everybody!

HI girls!
Yep another MIA mummy to be! Sorry I've not kept up with the other threads. I've been a bit slack really.
But anyway, I'm due tuesday (14th) and hoping that bub will make an early appearance this weekend really. I'm getting impatient! All's well and fine tho with us, just playing the waiting game is doing my head in!!!
Take care and I'll try to pop on here more often over the next few days.
Good luck everyone!:fingerscrossed:

Well I had my little man on Friday - Digby. :) He is awesome!
We ended up with an emergency C Sec, so much for the waterbirth I had been dreaming about. But at the end of the day him being safe and healthy is what counts right. Im feeling quite blah about the whole thing.

Hi there! Well my pregnancy time is over too. We had a beautiful little boy on Tuesday 14th. His name is Jack and he is a total joy! We are having the usual breastfeeding issues but with a little perserverance we should get there in the end. His big sisters are totally besotted with him and I'm sure I'll have a couple of little helpers. I hope the other ladies that were due around the same time are doing well with their new bundles of joy and for those ladies still waiting...my thoughts are with you.

Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well :)
Well I havent posted in MONTHS!! Couldn't keep up with the other thread, lol.
Our little girl Maya Isabelle entered the world last Tuesday 7/10 at 9:30am. Very fast labour, only 1 & a half hours, 4 minutes of pushing and out she came. No time for any pain relief (except tiny bit of gas). Very healthy bub weighing 8 pound 13. DD1 is very excited to have a little sister!
She is a very good baby, great sleeper and BF is going very well.
It's nice to read about everyones journeys. Good luck for those still to deliver :D

Hi Ladies,
Our little boy, Jack, arrived at 7.44am Fri 10/10, 6.2 pounds and 48.5cms by cs. Am recovering well - much better than my last cs. I was lucky enough to get the double deluxe room with private ensuite in hospital (only room like it, dont know what I did to deserve that!) so chose to stay the full 5 nights.
Congratulations to all the other mummies who've had their babies. All the best to those still waiting - Twiglet, hope you have some action very soon!
Queensmum, how funny, us both having boys called Jack, only days apart, in the same hospital & we live quite close to each other! Hope you're going well.
Bye

Hi there,
Twiglet - I hope you get to see your little bubba soon. The waiting is so hard, isn't it!!?
Mookie - For Sure! The coincidences are abit freaky! Were you in room 24 at the Wesley? I was in Room 24 which was a double room with a private ensuite when I had the girls and it was so nice (this time around I think they put me in a wardrobe by mistake!)
My cs was heaps easier this time around too. I'd heard that would be the case but it was nice to find it out first hand.
Hope all the new bubbas are doing well and all the Mummas are settling into having a newborn again...
Sheridan
