HELP, am i or not???????????

I have posted this on another thread but need advice....

I was due for my period according to my chart on Sunday. I did a test yesterday morning which has the faintest of faint second lines on it even my DF says he can see it. It is still there as well.
I did another test this morning and it was the same only that the line disappeared after about 1/2 hour.
I have no idea whether i am or not.... Ther also both came within the designated time frame.
BTW the tests i used were the crystal clear ones in the funny triangle shaped box. And i did them both with FMU. i do have 2 discover one step tests at home but was trying not to waste them. DF thinks i should do one of them tomorrow. I have really sore (.)(.)'s though and cramps and back pain so no idea what is going on.Meant to also say it took me four hours to get to sleep last night and i have been having really bad heartburn but i don't know if that has something to do about it.

Please help!! I am going :hissy:!!

I would do another test, or better still book yourself a doctor appointment and get a blood test done that way you will know for 100% sure...good luck!!!!:flowerz:

Did you put the cap over the testing stick after you tested? From memory, you are not supposed to read the tests again after ten minutes unless you replace the cap over the test stick. If you got a faint line within 10 minutes then it's positive regardless of what the results showed after 30 minutes. Congratulations, I'd say it's a BFP to you. I've got my :fingerscrossed: for you.

i agree, go to the doctors and get a bood test! my nipples felt like someon was sticking pins in them for 3 days, i finally took the advice of my dp and did a test and i was pregnant dd is now 5mths, good luck i hope you are pregnant and enjoy christmas dinner getting fat! hehe let us know when you find out vry exciting, and if your not, :( its ok keep going you will get there, :)

i would have to agree with the others - i would you YES your has yourself a BFP - but i'd go to the docs just to confirm - sore boobs are usually a good indication as well - :fingerscrossed: here's hoping we are right

I think i am going to do another test with discover one step in the morning then i will book into the Dr depending on the result. It is hard to get to the DR's here and getting time off work at the moment is nearly impossible.

Yes i replaced the cap straight away with both tests cause otherwise it gets messy. Well DF agreed he saw the lines too. I am new to this so have no idea. We didn't even think we timed it right this month and it is the 1st month TTC.

well with my last 2 af i didn't get sore boobs only got that when i was on implanon. YAY i can get fat over summer, don't have to suck in the belly when swimming. LOL :laughing:

I would definately test with the discover test.

I got my BFP at 9DPO with a First Response. FR and Discover One step are identical..so if AF was due 2 days ago...I'd be testing in the morning.

I got my BFP at 9DPO with a First Response. FR and Discover One step are identical..so if AF was due 2 days ago...I'd be testing in the morning.

hi i had to buy them when i went shopping on the weekend as the chemist here only has two brands because i liv in a small town and don't have woolies or anything. plus everyone knows you so when you go and buy 10 tests in the space of a week, it raises some eyebrows.

i will try the discover test tomorrow and hopefully i will have good news. :smiliedance:

Sounds exactly what I was doing this time last week!

The first test I did which i wasn't sure if it was a line or not, completely vanished after a day or 2.
But the lines on the other 4 tests all stayed there :)

Keep your hopes up! Its exactly what I said, i thought our timing was off and it happened!

And I thought i was getting period pain, back ache, sore boobs, bad bad cramps.

So fill us in when you find out!!

By the way, I used the confirm, and discover test, and found the discover showed a much clearer line.

And P.S. I couldn't sleep for about 3 days staright, my heart raced the entire time, I was a nervous bundle of nerves!! And i couldn't stop sweating! Gross but true!!

i was exactly the same as you deking. i thought it was af coming. have had all the same symptoms.

but i am sooooo freaking out right now. i did a discover one step test this morning expecting it to be :bfn: but it came up :bfp: straight away. going to book dr app today. i am ****ting myself though. my df said as soon as he looked at it, you're pregnant!! it was a pretty clear line, i took a pic with my mobile and it came up in that.

:iagree: book yourself in for a blood test. the same thing happened to me and it didnt matter how many tests i took the line kept fading away. I ended up getting a blood test and it came back that i was like a week and a half pg.

i can't get into the DR until Friday so i think that's good, my levels will go up again by then. i am getting used to the idea. my friend is TTC too, so hopefully she will fall pg too and we can go thru it together, it is her 2nd so she is great for advice. she was so excited when i told her this morning. i am starting to get excited about everything though.
