I do and have done since DD was born. I bought a quilted one for winter and a light cotton one for summer and she's been able to wear the same ones ever since. Mine are Gro-bags and I got them from the Bump to 3 website. A bit expensive but they're supposed to be the best ones for not overheating your baby. DD would never stay covered if I had her under a blanket so I decided to stick with sleeping bags until she can pull the covers over herself.
Hope that helps!
i have a lot of sleeping bags
never used them with my first born
my son had some cheap ones fleecy and cotton
for my last baby I bought about five
some are grobags
and red currant
I like them
I am wondering if anyone has
tried anything else
I have used sleepingbags for DS for most of his life. He hates feeling constricted and will never keep covers on so they have been a godsend for us. I started off with Grobags and am very impressed with their quality. I converted my SIL to them but she didn't want to spend the extra $$ on Grobags so purchased some cheaper ones (Curly Tops?) but to my mind they aren't as good. DS's still look in very good condition - even the ones that had constant wear (washing every second day). The wadding feels better in the Grobags and the zips are a better quality too.
I then discovered some goosedown sleeping bags from Canada which is just marvellous in our cold weather. Because it is so breathable, DS doesn't get overheated early on in the night but still stays toasty warm in the early hours of the morning when it gets very cool. Unfortunately their sizing isn't very large so he's grown out of them and I'm having a hard time working out what to do now.
I've tried the Snugtime sleepsuits but am not very happy with them. I dislike the polarfleece ones and the cotton velour is just too thin. The qualtity of it overall is a little disappointing too.
So, I'd love to hear what others are doing as well now that the cold weather has hit.

I use the polar fleece blanket sleepers. I find that is easier than dressing them in Pj's and then putting them into sleeping bags as well.
It been about 5 overnight here at the moment and I have had no problems with cold bubs yet.
