Well since I have met you & then harassed you about my St George acct & we were in the same 'Due In' thread of course I have to notice you :p

You just need to say controversial stuff like oh I dunno ..... CONTROLLED CRYING or CO-SLEEPING or even TANDEM FEEDING to get noticed around here :p You are just to tame ;)

Yeah I think the most crazy thread I have ever got smashed about was my first one I asked about piercing my tooth... hmmm was that a mistake to ask about...hahaha Now and then I get cranky with people but I write the post, read through it to make sure it makes sense then can't be bothered with the lecture...

Yay Sydney can't wait...

Hiya,

Marrickville Council runs a great scheme called the Magic Yellow Bus, like a big outdoor playgroup, all free, heaps of fun for the littlies, http://www.marrickville.nsw.gov.au/community/childrenandfamilyservices/magicyellowbus.htm

Leichhardt Library runs 'Baby Bounce', parents and bubs singing, playing basic instruments, also free, http://www.leichhardt.nsw.gov.au/Storytimes---Activities.html

Those are two off the top of my head, some great parks around, Federation Park at the bottom of Johnston Street at Annandale is great,

Hope you enjoy the move :)

Hiya! I have just found this thread:D..... We are in Inner West,..and Magic Yellow Bus is Fabbo! It goes to Petersham Park on Monday, McNeily Park in Marrickville on Tues,Camperdown Park in Newtown on Wednesday,..Enmore Park on Thurs and Johnston Park in dulwich Hill on Fri,.. I would love to meet up with you there! Susmamma and I go and have a gluttonous (sp?) picnic on occasion. and I take the kiddies a couple of times a week. A friend of mine also runs a fantastic music class (in redfern of all places:rolleyes:) on Thursday mornings,..but that is more for preschoolers. There is another music class run by my girlfriend, and there is a session for littlies in Newtown,.she does great stuff like african drumming etc,.let me know if you are interested and I will pass on details,. Also there is a great art school in Leichhardt that does a baby class. Finally,..(sorry for the long post:o) Marrickville Organic Markets on Sunday morning is a great place to meet for a chai and a chat:D

There is a great cafe on King Street called Martini's. It has a playroom upstairs and it is really child friendly. The staff love kids and make them feel welcome.

The new gym on King Street, Lifestyle Fitness, has a good creche. My son loves it and I enjoy having an hour to myself.

I used to go to the movies with Spencer when he was younger and just slept, fed and pooped but now I think it wouldn't be any fun... Maybe I'll give it a go again

I love yoga at Samahdi Yoga I used to go Tuesday Nights. Is there an age limit, again I think Spencer would just run around the place.

Wow this Globe Wilkins sounds like a great place. Do you need to be on a waiting list to get in?

it is the BEST preschool I have ever come across! you do have to be on a wait list,..but I can PM you the details if you want,... They take kiddies from 2! The only thing is that they run preschool hours - not daycare,.. so its a 9am-3pm day,..:)

Thats not good news about Lennox House being hard to get into... is that the school bit or the activities? I registered and got an email back welcoming me so I just assumed I could start going along to the activities like baby gym and music.

That preschool sounds awesome. I will have to investigate this shorties place too!

I live in Glebe.
