HI Ladies,

Just a quick question (that i cant seem to Google the answer for!!)

Does anyone know if you have a beach wedding - does it cost anything?

I guess you would have to get a council permit and possibly pay for that - but do you have to 'hire' the venue?

thanks in advance

Hi:wave:

My DH & I got married in 2004 on Mooloolaba beach on the sunny coast...

You have to contact the council that the beach is in & apply for a permit - ours was $150 ......

We had a beach wedding, at Byron Bay. We had to contact the local council and pay for a permit, but that was all :)

Hi there.

We are getting married in November, on Aspendale beach. There is no cost, but you need to apply for a permit which you do through the local council.

We have also arranged for a company i-do I think to set up some chairs and a signing table etc.

So excited only 6 weeks to go.
