Hey guys
Seen a few of us are interested in meeting up at Windmill park in Chancellor park, I thought I would set a date and see if we can all make it. We can change it to whatever suits everyone if this one doesnt suit.
So how does Monday 29th May at 9.30 sound???
If u would like to change the date put your ideas forward!
Hopefully see lots of people there

Would have loved to come but Mondays are out for me (playgroup day).
Tuesdays and Thursdays are good for me or from 11'ish on Fridays. Shame, but I'll have to give this one a miss. :(
Hope you guys have fun.
Storm
I would love to come also but usually Monday's I do scrapbooking and some tues mornings are out because I go to ABA sometimes. I am flexible though if that day suits others.
Wed / Thur / Frid are best for me. :)
Hey! The park sounds great but its one of my work days.
I'm around Thursday's and Friday's......!
Hope you all have an awesome time - Amelie & I will have to meet you all some other time :D

Mondays & Wednesdays are out for us. Tuesdays & Fridays are best, but can often make Thursdays as well (we go to the CHN every fortnight, depends on what time we end up there as to if we can do Thursday afternoons or not.)

What about Friday then? I guess tomorrow might be a little bit short notice! How about Friday, May 19th?
Does that suit you, 3KIDSMUM?
Should we still arrange it for 9.30am? Is this a good time for everyone?
I'd like to come along and Fridays work for me also. 9:30 is good.....

What does everyone else think about the time to meet? I'm happy to stick with 9.30, although later in the day is usually better for us also.
Alia, you said you were happy with 9.30, would you be ok with later too, or would you prefer to stick with 9.30?
Just trying to work out something to suit (hopefully!) everyone!
Friday's are good for me
Fridays are good for me - and 9.30am suits me
Amelie sleeps 11.30am to 1.30pm so all times before or after
that are fine with me :D
9.30 is good for me Tyger can have his 9am sleep in the car :D
Please tell me what street the park is on as I don't know where it is.

OK, so 9.30am Friday May 19th.
Actually, I don't know exactly where it is either. I've never been there. I have a map, but if someone could give me a general idea of what to look for that'd be great!

Hi 3KIDSMUM,
Thanks for the thought, but lessons begin in Caloundra at 9:30am. And, I forgot my Grandparents-in-law are up from Port Maquarie to see their one and only Great-Grand-Child for her 1st Birthday on Thursday, so I couldn't have made it anyway. :(
Have a great time.

Ooh yes! I was just going to ask about the weather!! :gloomy:
Hopefully it'll turn out to be nice & sunny, but if not, so long as there is a good undercover area, I'm happy with that.

i havent been to the park before so not sure if it has an undercover area - if it doesnt maybe we can meet at the coffee shop next to woolworths at chancellor park

I walk through there pretty much everyday to walk my 2 boys to school and it definalty has a big undercover area with seating. The kids might be a bit peeved off that they cant play on the swings though as they are not undercover. Maybe just bring a rug and a few toys for them to play in the undercover area or maybe small bikes
:gloomy: GO AWAY RAIN!!

Shall we all meet at the park tomorrow and 'assess the situation' and then move on to somewhere else if need be?
MrsMiggins
18-05-2006, 09:10
Sounds good to me! My bub is too young for the swings anyway, so she'll be happy just to sit & play with the other kids! :)

we had a great time too - great to put faces to the names & to meet up with some localish mums
i think it would be great to make it a regular thing either weekly or fortnightly & just rotate around kid friendly parks :smiliedance:

I'm all for making it a regular thing, although I will probably not be able to come to a lot of them after 8 June, when I go back to work. :( Hopefully I can still manage to get to the odd one here & there though!!
It was really great to finally be able to put more faces to names/usernames!!
I think Claire had a ball!
Hi it was great to meet the new mums and see you again mrsmiggins :).
A weekly get together would be great. I have to go back to work in July :crying: keen to make the most of it up to then.
Later in the week is always best for me. Where should we go?
