 Just wondering my bub is 7mths and since he was about 3 and half months I havent needed to wear breast pads as i dont leak....I was just reading a few forums that some mothers wear breast pads due to leaking up until about 9mths....I know everyone is different but is it normal to stop leaking so early??? I always worry I dont have enough milk but DS feeds well (10 mins all up with both boobs) and gaining weight....
Jade is almost nine months and I haven't worn breastpads during the day since about three months and at night since about five months. I don't think you have anything to worry about, you have enough for his needs.

Some women dont have to wear breastpads ever, I think i bought one box with my first and didnt use the whole box. I didnt even bother to buy any with number two. My sister is still wearing Breastpads at 10 months so everyone is different.
I've still got the box I bought for the hospital bag.
I think I've leaked about 3 times ever, and I had lots of oversupply issues in the first couple of months - I had permanent rocks attached to my chest!

Hi
I wore breastpads for the whole 5 months I was breastfeeding. Usually when I fed from one side, I would also have a letdown on the other side so if I didnt use breast pads I would leak everywhere.

I havent leaked for days.....but if I go out I'll pop them in...just in case! I've stopped wearing a bra at night too....I'm trying to increase my supply ATM and read that constrictions can decrease it....
