Hi Clothies,

I keep hearing this term - wicking, I mean. And I have no idea what it means! :confused: Can someone please explain it to me? Pretty please!:D

Its basically talking about when you have a leak from the nappy.
So when its used as "wicking" it is usually talking about when say a fabric gets into contact with another fabric & seeps through.

It can also be in relation to fleece 'wicking' the moisture through to the fabric below. So the fleece pushes the wee through rather than it sitting against the skin. Fleece sucks the mousiture through.

oh yes of course. i studied a few textile units and completely forgot that one.
