Hi everyone,
Yesterday I set about requesting samples and emailed away to companies that have been listed here in other threads, and also joined their "newsletters".
While I'm still waiting to see if I do actually recieve any samples, I wanted to let you know about my feedback so far, incase you too are interested in getting samples & information.
Ecobabe - the website looks very good and the lady who contacted me back via email, Jayne, sounds so very lovely. She has requested that I inform Bub Hub that as Ecobabe is a small retail shop, they cannot actually provide any samples, and suggested to me to contact the larger organisations. She was soooo nice and I would even consider buying stuff from Ecobabe online, when the time comes. I was very impressed with Jayne.
Huggies - join the Huggies Mum to Be Club and enter the competitions to win prizes. This is what I was told in the email, although I had already joined but was good to get the email anyway just incase I hadn't. I entered competitions, fingers crossed!
Valco - wanted to know where I got their link from Bub Hub! I just came across it and they are trying to find out what samples the link referred to for us. Stay tuned to see what turns up. The lady, Louise, seemed keen to deliver samples, but didn't know what has been done before...
Just Site - More of an organic approach to their products... Anthony contacted me and said due to a high demand, they no longer have any samples, but as soon as they do, they will send them out to me. I'll let you know if this comes to fruition! He always said to join the Newsletter which lets you know of freebies, prizes, special offers & discounts.
Nicepak - An email sent to me directed me to enter the monthly competition to then recieve samples. I don't know if the samples are the prize from the competition or not...
Gaia Natual Baby Products - A very understanding (and I imagine copied) email about finding the best products for your baby and that they are very happy to send samples. What you need to do to get a bath & body wash; baby moisteriser & skin soothing Lotion samples from Gaia is... Send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Free Samples / Gaia Skin Naturals / 25 Felicia Rise / Diamond Creek / Victoria 3089.
Tommee Tippee - I recieved an email from them confirming that I joined their Mailing List. In the comments when I joined, I requested some free samples, so we'll see if I get any!
Baby Love - I joined the Baby Love Club and can now access all their online information. Another email from them said that while they do offer samples, you must be part of the Baby Love Club.
No Wets - Another email, this time saying that my request will be processed soon so fingers crossed that happens!
I will post another comment when & if I do recieve samples and information.
