Very faint positive

Has anyone had a very very faint positive, but turned out not to be preggers? :confused:

i know a few ladies who have tested early gotten faint hpt's and had af arrive this is normally due to a chemical pregnancy

Mine was faint yesterday but was stronger this morning. Which brand have you used? I think I used Discover and it said that if it is negative there will be no trace of a line at all. If it is positive then it's a definite positive.

Well, the first test done last night was First Response - it was a very very faint line, but I could just make it out. Tested again this morning with Crystal Clear and it was a negative.

I've had a very faint line many years ago which I think must have been some kind of watermark. When is AF due? Wait til the day she's due if you can.. I know the suspense is killing you :hugs:

crystal clear isn't as sensitive as first response check the packets should tell you what level of hcg they can detect

I got 2 faint positives on HPT's and had bloods, and it turned out I was miscarrying.
As soon as bleeding from mc stopped, starting bd'ing. Sunday I tested and straigh away 2 strong lines.

My feeling would be maybe ur at the end of a m/c. Test again in a few more days.

I used first response the other night, and they obviously worked for me.

from the approximately 30-40 tests I did when I first found out I was pregnant I found that crystal clear dye isnt as dark as some of the others, even at 8weeks it was still pale, but you do have the benefit of no falsies on them.

I got the digital ones...pregnant...not pregnant...hard to misinterpret that lol

"Everyone keeps saying to me that you can't get a false positive but I think I must have.

I tested 10 days ago and got a very very faint BFP. The next day I did 2 more and got BFN's. I tested again every day over the next week and kept getting another very very faint positive and more negatives.

I tried different brands - first ones were ones off the internet which I have used successfully before. They are the ones that gave me the faint positives. I then got a Crystal Clear and got negatives. I have since found out that they aren't accurate.

Yesterday I decided it would be last day I tested and I got a darker BFP. I used the original ones from online. Still not convinced I bought a Pregnosis one from the chemist which came back negative.

I booked in for a blood test today but both my kids fell asleep just before my appt so I cancelled. I will go and get one done but for now has anyone had this happen before and what was your final result.

Talk about confusing and messing with my head.

Oh and I have a 5 month old and haven't had AF yet but I know I ovulated due to Maybe Baby and knowing my cycle. We were actually using this method to try not to conceive so we were really surprised to get a positive."

So I can answer this as soon as I get my results.
