I have decided to start temping this month and I noticed that my temps pre OV are around 35.5-35.8 and after about 36.5...does this seem low?

Does anyone else have these low temperatures?

Is it a problem when it comes to getting a BFP when TTC??

I'm wondering the same thing Jezabel. My temps vary between 35.8-36.4 pre-O. Don't know what they are post-O as i haven't O'd yet??

My temps have been quite low too, around 36.0 - 36.3 and the naturopath said they are a bit low so she put me on iodine. Now they are up a little bit to 36.4 - 36.6. She said that this was a bit better.

I don't think the actual temps matter, it's more the rise after ovulation that is important. My temps are about 36.2-3 pre-o and upto 36.7-8 after. Personally I wouldn't worry about the actual temp as there are so many things that influence it, but more the pattern of a rise...

Just googl-ised it (as I do) and got varying responses, saying that everyone is different but that it may indicate a thyroid or metabolic problem. My thyroid was OK last time I checked but I AM overweight so maybe the low temps are just a sign of my slow metabolism? Because your metabolism increases as your temps increase (hence why you have a higher metabolism between O and AF?

I have low temps, I never register over 36 til after I O. It didnt stop me getting pregnant. Its all about dips and rises, it doesnt really matter what your coverline is.
Have a search though Fertility Friend and you will more than likely see people with similar temps to you who have conceived.
