Full ferning after ovulation-pregnancy?

Hi ladies,
This is our second month TTC no.2. I ovulated 3 days ago, which was confirmed by FF this morning. I am still getting full ferning on my ovuclear microscope. Is this a good sign of pregnancy? Has it happened to others when they have found out they are pregnant?

I am TTC and am 9 DPO - and this morning and yday morning i have had full ferns.

I have heard somewhere that some ladies have experienced full ferns after O then found out they were pregnant!!

In my case I get ferning right up until AF comes. I hope in your case though, it means you are pg. Good luck :).

Emz - ferning is what the maybe baby (and other saliva ovulation testers) do to show ovulation.

Sorry to dissapoint girls ... but ferning in now way indicates pregnancy.

The saliva testers measure the amount of eostrogen salt residue in your saliva ....

Everyone has some eostrogen in their system all the time - but when you ovulate your eostrogen spikes - so you get ferns when you have higher levels of eostrogen.

Unfortunately some people have naturally high levels in their body, and higher levels (enough to get ferns) at different times in their cycles. One girl on here got full ferns all the time...so tested her hubby who also got full ferns!!!!

Pregnancy is indicated by the hormone HCG in the blood. POAS tests measure HCG in the urine ... some people certainly get a +ve POAS o test when they are pregnant, as the POAS o tests measure for the hormone LH in the urine, and will soemtimes react to HCG...... but the same doesnt go for the saliva tests.
