Ive decided this is where i want to go.....

BUT

Gosh im not even sure what im trying to ask here

umm..... is there any people out there who have/currently study who can recommend where to study or get info on. Due to family commitments i really need to look at distance education or even online.

A friend of mine has suggested Seek learning - any thoughts about them.

Also, textbooks and other resources - places i could check out to buy them second hand.

Thanks so much, any comment will be greatly appreciated

I researched this heaps as I was looking at doing distance learning to give me the flexibility of staying at home. If you want tafe, tafe nsw and tafe sa do distance (not sure about others). University of southern queensland, charles sturt university, southern cross university and a few others also offer distance learning and they have HECS placements. I would ring them or go on their websites and find out if they have the course you are looking for. Open Universities Australia may offer this course.

Id stay away from seek learning, they charge like triple what it should cost, they are a middle man, id study directly through the institution.

:iagree: It's best to study with the institution....I know from expereince that Charles Sturt has a range of Social Science degrees offered distance...

Another TAFE that offers distance ed is Tasmania :) good luck!!
