Hi, Im Amber Im a poas aholic.:wave:

Im Addicted to poas.. I cant stop.. im know where near my test date.. but still..I want to poas :(. Ive been like this all week. And i dont know how to stop it. I want to keep my last test to im at least 9po. So i have about 6-7 days away..But atm i feel like ripping the test out and peeing on it..

Yes I'm not beyond actually seeing a second line that isn't there if I stare at it long enough. If I think hard about where the line "should be" I kind of imagine it there. Then I have to keep blinking and saying it's not there is it?? Yes makes you feel rather nutty. I always feel really down after a BFN even when I know it's too early, so I'm doing my best not to test this month. 8 days to go, will probably cave around 5 days before AF is due :rolleyes:. That's when the First Response test I have says you can test.

It's been almost 2 hours since my last test.... At the moment I am into the OPK tests however when i do finally get a positive one I'm sure I'll turn to the HPT's a week or so later. I can already anticipate the excitement for when i am 'Allowed' to do a HPT..i have 3 in waiting and sometimes even wonder if maybe I should do them now, at CD14...just IN CASE AF was really a long stretch of implantation bleeding last time......:o

Hi - I think I am a 'selective' POAS-aholic - I go crazy with the OPK's but when it comes time to do the HPT I am too scared to POAS!!

I am due for AF today but she hasn't showed.
I constantly think about succumbing and doing the test but I only have 2 HPT's and don't want to waste them!!

I guess also I am thinking until I do POAS I 'could' be preggers and would rather think I 'could' be...

Does that make any sense? :confused:

When we were TTC after my first miscarriage I was a huge POAS addict. Then I read the leaflet on the inside of the test box. It was one of those early prediction ones, that claim to be 99% accurate. The leaflet explained that the accuracy of 99% is only reached after your period is due. Testing before your period is due takes the accuracy to closer to 40%.

I was then filled with outrage that marketing had made me spend loads of money on these silly pee sticks that are wildly inaccurate unless you wait until your period is due. Since then, I restricted my stick piddling to one or two days after my period was due.

So, girls, don't let the marketing people win!! Resist the temptation to piddle on every stick you see!

I also look at it in diffrent lights to make sure im looking at it clearly ( just incase im creating a shadow by standing in the wrong light)
Last month i had almost convience myself i was UTD and i was testing from 5 DPO i did 9 tests in total and wasnt not happy when AF turned up 4 days early :crying:

this morning i had the sudden 'urge' i knew it would be a BFN i even laughed at myself when i pee'd on it and laughed when i looked at it - of course it was a BFN, at 8 dpo?? common thats just rubbing salt in the wound..

If it was watered down a bit it doesnt matter sweetie a line is a line!!!!:yelclap: If you test again in the morning your lines will be so much stronger using FMU. WOOO HOOO

I poas before. i couldn't help myself again.. im happy now i have no more sticks in the house..I did the deed last Tues.. but im pretty sure i ovulated on Sunday and we dtd then 2.. So Im only 2dpo, Now thats sad.

FR were on special when I went to the supermarket...I planned on waiting til the morning so I could use FMU, but at 6:30pm it got the better of me.

I am a self confessed POAS and also a POAS looker at 'er'er I want to see pics of your positive tests, they intrigue me and get me all excited about one day seeing 2 lines again myself!!

I went through 80 OPK's this month ( although I didnt O till CD 25 so it's not that many really) and have already been POAS since 5 dpo. I am 8 DPO today and still :bfn: . Hope to see 2 lines soon.

I got my BFP at 6dpo last pregnancy, no joke I was using fertility friend to chart so my dates were accurate. So it is making me feel doubtful about being UTD this month not having a BFP at 8DPO. Silly I know:o:o

I feel terrible for using almost 80 OPK's this cycle ( 34 days long so far). I bought them thinking they would last at least two cycles, but I ended up using them like everytime I went to the loo lmao!!:laughing:

I am CD 35 and im still testing .. will continue probably until AF comes .. if she ever does lol .. I just ordered the set of 25 opk and 10 hpt's from Early-pregnancy-test.com .. Caint wait til they get here!

Mumtojoshandsam- I would try Early-pregnancy-test.com I think thats gunna be your best bet. I havent ever used them before but I hear their good. I should be getting mine in the mail anyday now .. I looked at your chart .. I too had AF on sept18th ... your lucky your cycle only lasted 21 and you got to start trying again .. sheesh im cd 35 dpo16 -dpo 20 .. I wasnt charting my temps so I havent a clue which day I actually ovualted FF says cd15-cd19 .. and AF no where in sight. Heres wishin ya Lots of Sweet smelling Baby Dust!!
