An age old dilemma.

My son used to be such a good eater.

Now he lives on crackers, yoghurt, plain rice & toast. Thank goodness he loves fruit and will eat beetroot by the tinful.

But that's it, have tried hiding his veges in everything, and he just won't eat them.

Anyone have ideas?:chef:

Hey there
I would not worry too muc - I think all toddlers seem to go through this at some stage. Have you tried pureeing the veggies and adding them to a tasy spag bol? That seems to work for my little one when she is a bit off her food...
You could try grating veggies ie carrot, courgette and potato, mix them up with seasoning nad flour and make rissoles, then just lightly fry them. (to make a bit more tasty you could add parsley, breadcrumbs, a little light soy and a beaten egg to the veggie mix - more work though hehe) Maybe try adding a dipping sauce of some sort..
Or maybe try a homemade soup (chicken and veggie or sweet potato and carrot)and blend a lot of it and give him some bread and butter to dip..
I have found that if I put my little on up on the work surface with me and chop food near her, she tends to just pick up stuff and start eating it - If i try to give it to her she refuses point blank.. (probably not the safest option but it showed me that they often like to discover stuff themselves rather than be given it on a plate).
As he is eating fruit - don't worry too much he will get plenty of nutrients from that

Good luck
xx :)
