Well I put in my temp and CM on my chart on FF and it picked up that I ovulated on day 14 and I am now 3dpo. Just wandering for when we start TTC, will it predict O on the day it happens in future charts (this is my first cycle of charting) so that I know when to BD (we are wanting to try for a boy so want to try on O)

Hi Kristy,

FF waits until your temperature has been consistently high for 3 days, then it pins O at the day before it rose - ie you will never see O lines until 3 days after you O. So unfortunately by then it is too late to BD. You have to look at your CM, and use some guesswork based on what happened in previous cycles to work out when to BD.

Well we have until end of November to start looking at my cycle and do some guess work when to BD! I also have a maybe baby so we will use that too!

Can I just ask.... if I ovulated on CD 14 and am not on CD 17 today how come since last night and today do I have what feels like O pains in my right hand side??

According to my Fertility specialist it is impossible to tell the difference between o pains and other abdominal twinges, it could be anything.:thumbsup:
