I have no idea where to put this thread or how much i am going to be embarressed by it! :o

I have been using Maybe Baby for a few days and testing my saliva as per the instructions... I am a bit funny with looking at it under the little microscope... kind of like knowing there are little microscopic bugs crawling all over your body but not wanting to think about them so you dont gross yourself out!! :p

I have noticed that a few times I have seen these tiny perfectly round shaped rings, like little mini thin donuts on the slide... they show up black and i am intrigued at what they are!! they dont move and there are not many of them, may be a couple on a slide, although one slide had 5.

I wondered if anyone else had seen this or any other wierd things! (or is it just me!! )

I tried google to search on them but had no luck, i just want to know what they are to see if i have some kind of disease or something! lol

i think they might be air bubbles in your saliva as i have seen them before as well, or else you need to twiddle the lense to focus it a bit more, maybe wait till it dries a bit more, sometime si had to wait a couple of hours to see a really clear result....dont worry when there are ferns you will see them very clearly, just make sure when you spit you do a light wipe over with your finger to make sure the saliva is a smooth covering

they are probebly just tiny air bubbles which would appear large through the microscope. May even be tiny specks of dust.I would think there would be nothing to worry about....Let me tell you the maybe baby works I have a 7mth old that is living proof .Good Luck happy licking :p

I looked this morning after 10 mins of drying and there was one there. I thought id try waiting a bit longer, even though i thought after 10 mins it looked dry... after another 15 minutes i looked again and the little black ring was gone, id say it was an air bubble!
The slide actually looked better after this time, they looked more like pebbles rather than dots. i think i will try to put a little less saliva on the lens next time or wait that bit longer again.

thanks for your help!
