not sure if this is the right place to post as no one seems to post at all here ???

but dd2 was in hospital this week for feeding issues . she was below the 3rd % and has since gone onto elemental formula for allergy issues..

my question is - when they did her obs her resting respitory or rate (not sure what it is called ) was sitting at 18- 25 .. and they said it should be around the 40

3 times during the night they called the ER doctor up to the ward as she has apneas on the machine and was manually counted at 18 after the machine alarmed ?

do i need to worry do you think - i have no idea what to look for ?

she also shows her potasium levels are rising ? we go back this week after being discharged on friday arvo but im uncertain what i should be looking for ?

My dd2 Baylee was emergency cs, then in NICU for like 6 days due to some breathing problems, not sure if similar to yours but she was turning blue and just stopping breathing some times.

All worked out ok and they released her. We have the sensor alarm breathing mats underneath the cot matress(and have had since the dd1) and it's great, just gotta remember to turn off when you pick them up and of course it's good if you receive as a gift as it costs about $250 but worth every cent for peace of mind)
