I am wanting to change my babies formula from "S26 for babies with reflux (thickened formula)" to "S26 Gold".

What is the best way to change your babies formula?

Do I change it all of a sudden and every feed from now on?
or
Do I do it bit by bit? If so, how????

i'd say you could probly just change it because your not changing brands just types and whenever i changed the formula to the older stages ds didnt seem to notice at all....

good luck with it:smiliedance:

Hey trix, I think it is pretty safe to just change. See how she copes. Because it is basically the same just thickened, she may just get a surprise as it won't be so hard to get it out of the bottle!

Thanks Shannon & EmysMum!! Sounds easier than doing bit by bit, might get a little confusing!

We changed formulas pretty abruptly when we travelled overseas, SMA in one bottle and then an equivalent to S26 in the next. DD coped fine. I think the recommendation is to do it gradually over a day or two though.
