Disposable bottles were my life saver! My DS had bad colic and these helped immensely..... he also went onto Zantac and changed formula but Im quite positive these helped so much.

What sort of bottles are they? Pigion or Avent? I used the avent. What you do with the avent anyway is push the bottom of the plastic part down, pop the bag inside the bottle and fold it over the edges, tip the formula prepared in (dont microwave or heat these bags and bottles), pop the top on and then push the plastic bottom bit up to get rid of air in the bag. As the bub sucks the bag will condense with the sucking so baby doesn't suck in air.

Hope that helps some.

Edited to add, on reflection I think you took the bottom off and turned it around.........does that make any sense with what you have?

I found them great at home, but a bit annoying when out and about because you can't just pop them into a microwave to heat up. Other ladies have said they carry a thermos of warm water and mix up formula as needed, so I guess that would be a way to go. Or get bub used to drinking room temperature formula.
