Does anyone know if these are any good for newborns?

We are trying to stock up on newborn nappies for when we TTC again but as we only started cloth with DD when she was 6 mths we dont really know much bout newborn nappies.

I found the bright bots on their website for only $12.

Anyhoo, has anyone used these before? Just looking for some feedback really.

made by the clothing company? They are just terry, may as well pay $30 for a 12 pk of flats. My personal opinion is dont waste money on not so absorbant nappies, I have a few flannel ones that are good for one wee only, which unless its summer and your checking bubs bum every 5 mins is silly. Go Bamboo, baby beehinds are $25 each, but super absorbant, super soft and well made. They do bulk packs and discounts too :)

I have about a dozen BBB but thought of using something else for the first few months bc of the gross newborn poo.

I was planning on using flats with covers for maybe the first 3 mths but thought maybe the bright bots fitteds would be okay when going out and about for DF to do the changing.

I might just stick with the flats then.

at least with flats you can use them for other things and they dry much quicker than any fitted would.. you can even use old ones to make fitteds with you know wnayone handy!!

if you have the money to spare and it makes thing easier, then why not. it would be less bulky than a flat i would imagine....a flat would be cheaper and dry faster but the bright bots would be easier and more convenient i think.

I had one and it didn't hold much at all - yes slightly less bulk but not much use for going out because they don't last long, the wee just seems to run straight through them.
