I'm going to WA (from Qld) on holidays and have a 9 month old daughter. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can hire cots from ANYWHERE just for a short stay. I won't be in a motel/hotel...I'll be stayed with family. But I don't want to BUY a portacot just for this one trip, and nor do I want to pay the fees which will go with sending it across with us. (I also doubt it will fit in the car with suitcases, car seat, pram and people).
Any suggestions?

Try the Bubhub Directory: Hire Services - Nursery Equipment (WA) (http://www.bubhub.com.au/serviceshirewa.shtml) I've never used one unfortunately so can't make a specific recommendation.
Or if you're lucky another member may be near enough to loan one to you :)

Feel free to PM me. I can give you some details of someone that i hired baby equipment through.
I was in Perth in Feb with my DS who was 4 months old then. I took my pram with me ( we flew over). We hired a car seat and a port a cot.
The lady i hired from was lovely. The items were very clean and fairly current.
This lady works through a baby store in Perth. So i'm sure that the store will have other locations you can hire equipment from.
